Position Overview

​Role Overview

Reporting to the Chair of Estate Management, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing client relationships, delivering expert advice, and mentoring junior team members. This is a high-autonomy position with a strong focus on results, innovation, and business development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver full estate management services, consultancy, and strategic advice on rural property matters.
  • Advise on landlord and tenant issues, valuations, diversification, development, ecosystem services, energy, and more.
  • Lead and mentor junior colleagues, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
  • Contribute to business planning, budget management, and achievement of departmental goals.
  • Represent the company at industry events and support ESG strategy delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

  • RICS accredited with a minimum of 5 years PQE.
  • Strong background in rural estate management.
  • Experience in upland areas and shoot management (desirable but not essential).
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills.
  • A proactive, trustworthy, and team-oriented professional.

Position Overview

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Administrator to join our growing team at our Head office in Colburn, North Yorkshire. You will be part of a team of Administrators where you will support and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our Estate Management Department. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audio-typing of letters, emails, reports and other documents as required
  • Attending meetings and taking accurate minutes in a timely manner
  • Creation of professional presentations using powerpoint
  • Email and Diary management and the arranging of both internal and external meetings.
  • Monthly invoicing on Sage Coretime
  • Answering of telephone calls, dealing with queries and redirecting calls as necessary including taking comprehensive messages where required
  • General management of the office on a day-to-day basis as required, including facilities management, ordering stationery and organising office events.
  • Photocopying, printing and scanning of documents including ongoing upkeep of electronic filing and assisting with archiving

What we're looking for:

  • Professional telephone manner whilst being both warm and welcoming
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, outlook and SharePoint
  • Knowledge/use of CRM System is preferrable but not essential
  • Audio-typing skills to a high standard 
  • Excellent organisational skills with a problem-solving approach to tasks
  • Excellent standard of written English language with a high attention to detail
  • Capability to prioritise busy workload and manage time effectively

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Office Manager to lead our residential sales team at our Head Office in Colburn, North Yorkshire. This is a key role within our branch, focused on overseeing day-to-day operations, supporting the team, and ensuring a high standard of service for our clients.

You’ll combine strong property knowledge with leadership skills to drive performance, maintain compliance, and contribute to the continued success of the branch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on leadership to the branch team, encouraging collaboration and maintaining high standards
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure a smooth and efficient customer experience
  • Manage a portfolio of residential properties, supporting the team in delivering results from instruction to completion
  • Conduct market appraisals using local insight and property expertise to win new business
  • Support sales performance through effective lead generation, negotiation, and pipeline management
  • Build lasting relationships with clients, offering guidance throughout their property journey
  • Monitor KPIs and contribute to branch planning and performance reviews
  • Mentor and support team members in their professional development
  • Work closely with colleagues across Marketing, Sales Progression, and Administration to deliver a seamless service

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in estate agency, ideally with previous management or team leadership responsibility
  • NAEA Qualification is preferred, however we would consider applicants who are willing to complete the qualification within 6 months
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident in making decisions, managing priorities, and solving problems proactively
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable using CRM software and Microsoft Office
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car
  • Knowledge of the local area and a genuine interest in property
