Getting to know...
Tom has been involved and practicing in rural estate management in County Durham and Northumberland since graduating from HAUC in 2007.
Tom predominantly works for one retained Estate client, dealing with the day to day management of a large portfolio of residential properties, commercial office space, and the management of the Estate employees.
I enjoy meeting new people and helping existing tenants and clients within rural areas. Together with problem-solving and seeking new opportunities where possible, is what keeps me motivated.
In addition, Tom is involved in the management of a small number of in-hand livestock farms for other Estate clients, both on a contract farming and share farming basis, together with dealing with ad-hoc rural professional work, predominantly BPS and Stewardship matters, for a number farming clients in and around Durham.
Tom thrives on fresh thinking and considering realistic options outside the traditional box to ensure the best result for his clients.
