​Role Overview

Are you an experienced administrator with a passion for organisation, detail, and supporting a thriving team? We’re looking for a Senior Administrator to take the lead in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our office and department operations.

In this pivotal role, you’ll be the go-to person for a wide range of administrative tasks, supporting colleagues, mentoring junior team members, and helping to maintain a professional and welcoming office environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading on administrative duties including audio-typing, minute-taking, and document preparation
  • Managing diaries, emails, meetings, travel arrangements, and presentations
  • Coordinating projects
  • Overseeing office facilities, including health & safety checks
  • Handling monthly invoicing using Sage Coretime
  • Supporting junior staff through training and mentoring
  • Maintaining office supplies

What we are looking for

  • Proven experience in a similar administrative role
  • High-level audio-typing and Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • A professional, warm telephone manner and excellent written communication
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and remain calm under pressure
  • A proactive, positive attitude and a collaborative approach to teamwork

Experience with CRM systems and Sage Coretime is a bonus — but training will be provided.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Office Manager to lead our residential sales team at our Head Office in Colburn, North Yorkshire. This is a key role within our branch, focused on overseeing day-to-day operations, supporting the team, and ensuring a high standard of service for our clients.

You’ll combine strong property knowledge with leadership skills to drive performance, maintain compliance, and contribute to the continued success of the branch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on leadership to the branch team, encouraging collaboration and maintaining high standards
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure a smooth and efficient customer experience
  • Manage a portfolio of residential properties, supporting the team in delivering results from instruction to completion
  • Conduct market appraisals using local insight and property expertise to win new business
  • Support sales performance through effective lead generation, negotiation, and pipeline management
  • Build lasting relationships with clients, offering guidance throughout their property journey
  • Monitor KPIs and contribute to branch planning and performance reviews
  • Mentor and support team members in their professional development
  • Work closely with colleagues across Marketing, Sales Progression, and Administration to deliver a seamless service

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in estate agency, ideally with previous management or team leadership responsibility
  • NAEA Qualification is preferred, however we would consider applicants who are willing to complete the qualification within 6 months
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident in making decisions, managing priorities, and solving problems proactively
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable using CRM software and Microsoft Office
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car
  • Knowledge of the local area and a genuine interest in property

Monday–Thursday: 9:00am–5:30pm
Friday: 9:00am–5:00pm
Alternate Saturdays: 9:00am–1:00pm (with time off in lieu)
