Our guide to strategic land

The housing market is currently seeing unprecedented levels of activity with a regional shortage of stock available for buyers.  This is replicated in the new homes market where competition for new build housing sites is strong.

Over the course of May, we will be focussing on the promotion, development, and sale of strategic housing land.  We will be providing you with updates on the negotiation of sale prices under an option or conditional contract, demonstrating how value can be added to an opening bid from a buyer or Local Authority in the Section 106 negotiations, and exploring why design adds value to development.

We have produced a guide for landowners and their advisors on the way in which strategic land is promoted and with an insight into doing an element of this themselves.
